Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on Thursday that the name of Fazilnagar in Kushinagar district will be changed. He said that the name of Fazilnagar will be changed to Pava Nagari. CM Yogi Adityanath had come on Ghaziabad tour.

In this series, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who came to Ghaziabad on Thursday, announced the change of name of another district of the state. CM Yogi has talked about changing the name of Fazilnagar of Kushinagar district. CM Yogi said, ‘Fazilnagar will be renamed as Pava Nagri. CM Yogi said that even though Lord Mahavir was born in Vaishali in Bihar, the place of his Mahaparinirvana was in Fazilnagar in UP, which is mentioned as Pavagadh in ancient texts. It has a very important place in history and Jain tradition.
