Major action by the administration has been seen in Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh. Here action has been taken to confiscate the property of former SP MLA Deepak alias Deep Narayan Yadav. On the instructions of the District Magistrate, the police and revenue department team has taken action to confiscate property worth more than Rs 20 crore 26 lakh at three places.
Jhansi: Major action by the administration has been seen in Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh. Here action has been taken to confiscate the property of former SP MLA Deepak alias Deep Narayan Yadav. On the instructions of the District Magistrate, the police and revenue department team has taken action to confiscate property worth more than Rs 20 crore 26 lakh at three places.
On the instructions of the District Magistrate, the police and revenue department team made a formal announcement and attached these properties. It also has vacant plots in Karguwan, Moon City. A total of three properties have been attached. It is worth noting that in the criminal cases registered in various police stations against former MLA Deep Narayan Singh Yadav, who was missing in the assault and robbery case registered recently, the Court District Magistrate has issued an order to confiscate his property under the Gang Bandh and Anti-Social Activities Act.
The former MLA accused in this case is absconding. In this case, two accused Anil Yadav and Ashok Goswami have gone to jail. SP City Preeti Singh said that two days ago, the police had issued a notice to confiscate the property worth Rs 20 crore of the former MLA and warned him to appear within two days if he was not arrested for absconding with the gangster. Deepnarayan Yadav’s troubles have increased in recent times. He was accused of land grabbing, assault, snatching at gunpoint and extortion of Rs 20 lakh. On which Kotwali Month police station has registered a case against 6 people including the former MLA and started investigation.
