Mukesh Kumar was appointed technical officer for Asmita Khelo India Zonal Competition in Howrah. Women players from 12 states will participate in it. This is a proud moment for Bhojpur.
Bhojpur. Mukesh Kumar, member cum Bhojpur District Secretary of Bihar Weightlifting Association and resident of Barka Lohar, has been appointed Technical Officer (Referee) for the Asmita Khelo India Zonal (Weightlifting) competition. This competition is being organized in Howrah, West Bengal from 26 to 30 November.
Emphasis on increasing the role of women
He has been given this responsibility through a letter issued by the Indian Weightlifting Association. Mukesh Kumar is National Referee Level-1 and before this also has served as a referee in many state and national level competitions. This competition is organized on the instructions of the Sports Department of the Government of India, the objective of which is to encourage women to participate more in sports.
Players from 12 states will participate
Women players from 12 states will participate in it and the medal winners will also be given cash as reward. For the purpose of participation of women in sports, it is being organized on the guidelines of the Sports Department of the Government of India. Women players from 12 states will participate in it. Money is given as reward for winning a medal in a competition. District Sports Officer, Association President and social worker Dr. Vijay Gupta congratulated him on being appointed Technical Officer (Referee) from Bhojpur district for the said zonal competition.
Let us tell you that Mukesh Kumar has been proving his worth in the sport of weightlifting despite facing a lot of struggles. Mukesh Kumar has played a very important role in building the weightlifting team of Bhojpur district. It is because of his hard work and dedication that he has once again got a big achievement at the national level. This is also a moment of pride for Bhojpur district.
