Bhatura Video Viral: These days a video is making headlines on social media, in which a shopkeeper is seen turning Bhatura into a pizza by adding cheese and momo sauce. People are surprised to see this food experiment.
Bhatura Video Viral: India’s street food is once again surprising people on social media. This time a street vendor presented the traditional Bhature in a completely new style and transformed it into a pizza. This unique experiment near Delhi’s GTB Nagar metro station was captured on camera, the video of which is going viral on the internet.
In the viral clip, it can be seen that the shopkeeper uses Bhature as a pizza base. This Bhatura, usually eaten with chickpeas, is made into a complete pizza with vegetables, cheese, parsley and chilli flakes. This video has been shared with the Instagram handle @oye.foodieee, in which the name of the cart has been mentioned as ‘Top Burger’.
At the beginning of the video, the seller applies tomato paste on Bhature and then spreads a mixture of onion, capsicum, corn and cheese on it. After this, he adds lots of grated cheese, tandoori sauce and cream cheese on top and keeps it in the oven. After coming out of the oven, this dish looks exactly like pizza, the only difference is that its base is Bhatura.
At the end, the shopkeeper adds the spice of oregano and chilli on top and serves it along with packets of red chutney. After the video surfaced, users were first shocked to see this unique food fusion, then there was a flood of funny comments on social media.
Someone wrote, “It would have been fun if I had added chickpeas also,” while someone said, “God will not forgive you brother.” While one user sarcastically wrote, “India and Italy together will abuse.”
