UPSC Love Story: UPSC couple became government officers together
IAS Abhinav Siwach and IPS Aashna Choudhary, both had achieved success in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022. Abhinav, who hails from Haryana, had secured AIR 12 in CSE 2022. He was allotted Haryana cadre and currently he is SDM in Pehowa, Kurukshetra. Whereas, Aashna from Uttar Pradesh had secured AIR 116 in CSE 2022. He was allotted Uttar Pradesh cadre and is working as ASP in Mathura.
Studied from top university
IPS Aashna Chaudhary has studied from Delhi Public School located in Ghaziabad. After doing Honors in English Literature from the famous Lady Shri Ram College of Delhi University in 2019, she did Masters in International Relations from South Asian University in 2023. Aashna Choudhary took a break of 1 year after graduation and prepared for the UPSC exam. Abhinav Siwach did MBA from IIM Kolkata after completing B.Tech from DTU in 2016. He has also worked as an investment banker.
Took seven rounds in Hisar
IAS Abhinav Siwach and IPS Aashna Chaudhary got married on 27 November 2025. After this, a dinner program was organized for the guests at Tulip Resort in Hisar on 29th November. During this, many stalwarts including cabinet ministers Ranbir Gangwa and Krishna Bedi came to bless the bride and groom. Cabinet Minister Rao Narbir Singh and Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda met Abhinav Siwach and his father Satbir Siwach at their residence in Sector 16-17, Hisar. Rao Narbir Singh talked to Abhinav and Aashna and wished them all the best.
