Math Trick For Competitive Exams: Smart planning is necessary to get success in competitive examinations like Bank, SSC and Railways. Experts say that instead of being engrossed in books the whole day, if you can set aside time and study carefully, then it definitely becomes easier to pass the exam. Experts also have the same opinion regarding this.
study along with job
Well-known Banking-SSC coaching expert Ashish Tiwari of Palamu says that if a student is preparing along with job or other work, then there is no need to panic. Just six hours of focused study is enough. He says that most of the students are worried about the compound interest (CI) questions of mathematics, even though these can be solved in an easy way.
The matter will be resolved through tree method
Palamu’s mathematics expert Ashish Sir has said that the easiest way to solve compound interest problems is the Tree (Triangle) method. This method makes the calculation of CI for two to three years very easy.
Ashish sir tells that if you have a good grip on the three main bases of competitive examination – Maths, Reasoning and English, then no exam is difficult for you. With the tree method, students can reach the answer directly without getting entangled in long calculations, which saves time in the exam and marks are also safe.
The most important thing during preparation is to adopt the right study pattern.
Give the first two hours of the day’s sitting to mathematics, because mathematics is easier to understand in a fresh mind. NCERT books help in strengthening the foundation for Maths. Practice reasoning in the second sitting and for this, continuously read the same book from a good publisher like Arihant. The advice is that the grip that is achieved by reading the same book 25 times cannot be achieved by reading even 10 books.
More books means confusion
The third sitting should be given to English. Only one book should be used as the basis for each subject. Too many books increase confusion, not clear understanding. If this time table is followed continuously for 8 months, results will definitely be achieved. There should be absolutely no interruption of any kind during the six hours of study. If there is noise or trouble at home, it is better to go to the library and study.
