Balloon festival started in Banaras, tourists saw amazing view of the city from the sky

Varanasi. The four-day Balloon Festival has started in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. In these Balloon Festival, apart from the historic Ghats of Kashi, tourists are seeing a wonderful view of the city from a height of one thousand feet. On Tuesday, the first day of the festival, 10 hot air balloons took off from the grounds of the Central School in Kamachha, Varanasi. Delegates from Shanghai countries took a ride in this hot air balloon and saw the amazing view of Kashi from the sky. Seeing the city from hundreds of feet above, everyone appreciated it a lot.

Tourism officer Kirtiman Srivastava told that from January 17 to 20, hot air balloons will fly in the sky during the Balloon Festival. This festival is being organized to give a new flight to tourism in Kashi. In this festival, pilots from abroad are flying hot air balloons. These include pilots from Britain, America, Canada. For this, a total of three spots have been made including the city and the ghats, from where hot air balloons will fly in the sky continuously till January 20, according to the direction of the wind.

Surendra, who traveled in a hot air balloon, told that the view of Kashi from the sky was wonderful. The opportunity to see Kashi from a balloon, perhaps no one would have seen or felt it before. On the other hand, seeing the hot air balloon flying from the roof of their houses, the local people were also happy.
