A total of 1995 employees were infected by 1 February
According to Hardeep Singh Puri, a total of 1,995 Air India employees were found to be infected with the virus till February 1, including the crew involved in the Vande Bharat Mission. 583 of them are hospitalized.
Work being done according to SOP
As of January 1, Air India had 12,350 employees, including 8,290 permanent employees and 4,060 contract employees, according to data provided by an Air India spokesperson. Puri said that the crew is allowed to work only according to the corona test and SOP issued by the Medical Department of Air India.

Flights will start between Hubli and Mumbai
Air India has resumed its flight services between Hubli and Mumbai from 16 February, which was suspended in view of the applicable lockdown due to Kovid-19. According to Air India officials, company airlines will be available three days a week – Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
Corona cases in the country
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has conducted a total of 20,73,32,298 sample tests for corona virus in India till date, of which 6,15,664 samples were tested yesterday. The Health Ministry said on Sunday that six states accounted for 78.3 percent of the new deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.
