Lucknow: A surprising case has come to light in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Here an inter-state gang making and selling fake marksheets and degrees has been exposed. Gomti Nagar Police of Lucknow East has taken action in this case and arrested three accused. According to the police, these gangs were making and selling marksheets ranging from PhD to B.Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA, BA, MA degrees.
Let us tell you that in Gomti Nagar East police station area of Lucknow, the police has exposed a big gang making fake degrees and marksheets and arrested three accused. This gang was active in many states and was preparing fake educational documents and selling them to people through cyber cafes. This action of the police has exposed the network that attacks the credibility of the education system.
Police investigation revealed
The arrested accused have been identified as Ayodhya resident Satyendra Dwivedi, Unnao resident Akhilesh Kumar and Lakhimpur Kheri resident Saurabh Sharma. Police investigation revealed that the accused were preparing fake degrees and marksheets ranging from BA, MA, B.Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA to PhD. These documents were sold especially to those people who wanted to get private jobs.
Used to charge this much for degree
Fake degrees of BA and MA were sold by the accused for 10 to 15 thousand rupees, while degrees like B.Tech and PhD were sold for 1.5 to 2 lakh rupees. Gomti Nagar Police has recovered 930 fake marksheets of 25 universities from the possession of the accused. Apart from this, 15 fake seals, ink pads, about Rs 2 lakh in cash, 65 papers for making mark sheets, printing related items, laptop, hard disk and a Harrier car have also been seized.
According to the police, the main accused Satyendra Dwivedi himself is a PhD degree holder, while Akhilesh Kumar has an MSc degree. Police clarified that the degrees of the accused were genuine, but they were running illegal business by preparing fake documents. Investigation has also revealed that Satyendra Dwivedi also operated a center for conducting online examinations.
