Dandruff Removal Tips: The problem of dandruff increases in winter, due to which the hair becomes weak. According to Dr. Narendra Kumar, relief can be provided by Neem, Brahmi oil, Amla, curd and aloe vera.
In the winter season, as much as sunlight and warm clothes provide comfort, they also bring some problems. Due to this, the problem of dandruff i.e. dandruff increases. It is harmful for hair. Due to continuous problem of dandruff, the problem of itching, burning and dryness also increases. Ayurvedic doctor Narendra Kumar told that with the arrival of winter, dryness in the scalp increases, due to which the amount of dandruff increases and the hair starts looking lifeless and weak.
He told that lack of moisture in the air in winter and the habit of bathing with hot water makes the scalp dry a lot. When the scalp loses its natural moisture, the dead skin starts falling off rapidly, which later takes the form of dandruff. This problem is seen more in those people who spend more time near heaters or use more chemical based products on their hair. In such a situation, dandruff particles become clearly visible in the hair.
In such a situation, this problem can be solved with the help of Ayurveda and some home remedies. Ayurvedic doctor Narendra Kumar told that dandruff mainly arises from the imbalance of Vata and Kapha dosha. Winter season naturally increases Vata, due to which both the body and the scalp become more dry. Wrong eating habits, mental stress, inadequate sleep and frequent hair styling can also increase this problem. Therefore, by adopting some remedies of Ayurveda, one can easily get rid of this problem.

According to Ayurvedic doctors, the use of Neem is most beneficial in dandruff, because it has strong anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Boiling Neem leaves in water and washing the head with that water keeps the scalp clean and infection free. Light massage of neem oil gives peace to the scalp. Apart from this, Brahmi oil also nourishes the scalp and maintains its moisture, which reduces dandruff and strengthens the roots.
Apart from this, Amla is also no less than a medicine for dandruff. Along with strengthening the hair roots, it also improves the condition of the scalp. Applying Amla powder mixed with henna not only reduces dandruff but also brings natural color and shine to the hair. Apart from this, natural shampoo prepared with the mixture of Amla, Reetha and Shikakai helps in eliminating dandruff from the roots, because it keeps the scalp clean without causing any harm.
Talking about home remedies, use of curd and lemon is the most effective method. The probiotics present in curd soothe the scalp, while the citric acid in lemon reduces excess oil and dandruff. Similarly, applying lemon mixed with coconut oil maintains the moisture of the scalp and provides relief from itching.
