New Delhi. Government oil companies have released new rates of petrol and diesel across the country on Monday morning. The impact of the ongoing slowdown in the global market is still visible on retail oil prices in many cities of the country. Especially in Patna, the capital of Bihar, petrol became cheaper by about 53 paise per liter today. As soon as the elections are over in Bihar, a decline in oil prices is being seen. Fluctuations are visible in the retail prices of petrol and diesel in cities of other states also.
According to GoodReturn, in Gurugram, the capital of Haryana, petrol has fallen by 24 paise to Rs 95.12 per liter and diesel has also fallen by 23 paise and is being sold at Rs 87.59 per litre. In Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur, the rate of petrol has become cheaper by 68 paise to Rs 104.72 per litre, while diesel has also fallen by 61 paise and is being sold at Rs 90.21 per litre. In Bihar’s capital Patna, petrol became cheaper by 53 paise and became Rs 105.58 per litre, while diesel prices fell by 50 paise to Rs 91.82 per litre.
Talking about crude oil, its prices are falling in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has fallen to $63.80 per barrel. The rate of WTI also fell and the price reached $ 59.47 per barrel.
