Armenia Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has warned that the army may execute the coup in the country. Earlier, the Army had demanded from the Prime Minister that they should resign.

In fact, top army officials are angry that the Prime Minister sacked their top commander. PM Nicol is facing heavy opposition after a bad defeat at the hands of Azerbaijan. Armenia has lost a lot in this war over Nagorno-Karabakh. It also includes a very important Shusha town. After the mediation of Russia, thousands of Russian soldiers are stationed in this area. On the other hand, in his defense, PM Nicole said that he feels that the earlier statement of the army is an attempt to ‘military coup’.

Nicole told his supporters that they should gather at the Republic Square in the center of the capital Yerevan. After this, thousands of people gathered at Republic Chowk. Nicole said, “The army is not a political institution and attempts to get involved in the political process are unacceptable.” However, he invited the opposition to come to the negotiating table to resolve the crisis. The PM stressed that the change in power should be done only through elections.
