According to Dr. Sushil, the suitable time for sowing cauliflower is almost over, but if farmers still have sowing time left, then they should not get into the trouble of building a nursery. Sowing directly in the field at this time will prove to be more profitable. For this, farmers should prepare ridges in the field and sow cauliflower seeds by hand on the ridges. This will improve the growth of plants and flowers will be formed in larger sizes.

Seeds should be sown on ridges at a distance of 40 to 45 cm. Proper distance between plants provides adequate space for flower growth and also reduces the incidence of diseases and pests. Using appropriate amount of fertilizers from time to time after sowing strengthens the plants and increases production. If some plants out of 100 get damaged then sow them again at the same place. This will not reduce production. It is important to maintain moisture balance in the field. Excessive water logging can damage the crop. Drought is also harmful.
