In this scheme, up to 25 percent waiver of principal amount and 100 percent waiver of interest is being given. Not only this, there is also the facility of installments for bill payers. The scheme will run in three phases
The first phase will be from December 1 to December 31, 2025, in which 25% discount will be available on the principal amount.
Second phase from January 1 to January 31, in which 20% principal rebate will be available.
Last from February 1 to February 28, in which there will be a discount of 15% on the principal amount.
If the consumer deposits Rs 750 in monthly installment, then 10% discount will be given in the installment. If the consumer deposits Rs 500 monthly, he will be given a 5% discount. He told that our electricity team is going from village to village to make people aware. Also, people are being told about this scheme by setting up camps in every power house.
