Noida : Apple’s first store in Noida has now officially opened. The world’s famous technology company Apple has expanded its retail network in India and made Noida, Uttar Pradesh its new destination. Earlier, the company has opened its stores in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru and this is its 5th store in the country. It is noteworthy that before the inauguration of the new Apple Store in Noida Sector-18, people were seen standing in a long queue on Thursday.
It is noteworthy that this new store located in DLF Mall of India has opened for customers from today. Here people will be able to buy all the premium products of the company including iPhone, iPad, MacBook as well as take advantage of Apple’s personalized services and advanced purchasing experience. The store’s exterior design is inspired by the peacock feathers, India’s national bird, which Apple describes as a symbol of ‘India’s creativity and pride’.
What are the main terms of the lease?
According to reports, Apple has rented a total area of 8,240 square feet on the ground floor of DLF Mall of India, which has been created by combining 6 stores.
- The lease period is 11 years.
- The company will not have to pay any rent for the first year.
- From the second year the rent will be Rs 263.15 per square foot i.e. approximately Rs 45.3 lakh per month or Rs 5.4 crore per year.
The total rent for the entire lease period will be approximately Rs 65 crore. - There will be a 15 percent fare increase every three years.
