Apple has confirmed that its fitness platform Apple Fitness+ will be available in India from December 15. This service is the biggest expansion till date and now users from 49 countries will be able to access it. According to Jay Blahnik, Apple’s Vice President of Fitness Technology, Fitness+ inspires users to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
To use Fitness+, an iPhone 8 or later must be running iOS 16.1 or later. But to view real-time personal metrics, you will need Apple Watch Series 3 or above.
Workout and Features
Apple Fitness+ includes a total of 12 types of workouts, which include HIIT, Strength, Yoga, Dance, Cycling, Pilates, Treadmill, Rowing, Kickboxing and Meditation. Workouts range in length from 5 minutes to 45 minutes and are all available in 4K Ultra HD. Users can exercise with the music of their choice.
The special thing is that Apple Fitness + is now introducing K-Pop category, which will include global hits. Apart from this, in the Artist Spotlight feature, the entire workout has been focused on the music of one artist. Songs of artists like Taylor Swift, BTS, Beyoncé and Coldplay are included in it. There’s also a Time to Walk feature for an audio-based experience, where users can listen to stories from popular people, such as Formula 1 driver Yuki Tsunoda.
It would not be wrong to say that Apple Fitness+ is bringing a new fitness experience in India. Whether you are new to working out or experienced, this platform will inspire every user to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
How much does the plan cost?
The price of Apple Fitness + in India has been kept at ₹ 149 per month or ₹ 999 per year. It can be shared with five more members in the same family. Apple has also introduced a special offer for new customers. If a user buys a new Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, AirPods Pro 3 or Powerbeats Pro 2, he will get three months of Fitness+ membership for free.
