2023 Yamaha FZX: Yamaha, a famous company that manufactures sports and retro bikes, is preparing to launch a new retro designed bike in India soon. This will be the new model of Yamaha FZ-X. Interestingly, it will be the first 150cc bike in the country to come with a dual channel ABS option. If media reports are to be believed, the new FZ-X has recently been spotted during testing. In which its new design and features have been revealed.
The new Yamaha FZ-X will get a circular headlamp with integrated DRLs and a projector unit. It will also get a transparent windscreen along with new headlamps. Apart from this, it will also get a front fender similar to the Xpulse 200 dirt-bike. The new FZ-X is going to get some cosmetic updates including new golden colored alloys. It can also be launched in a new color option. The most important update on the bike will be the better braking system with dual channel ABS.

Engine, Speed and Mileage
There will be no mechanical changes in the new FZ-X. It will continue to get the same 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as before. This bike comes with 5-speed gearbox. The engine of the bike gives power of 12.2 bhp and peak torque of 13.3 Nm. The top speed of this motorcycle is 115 kmph. The bike gets a mileage of about 45 km per litre.

What will be the cost of the new bike?
The FZ-X is currently sold in 3 colors – Matte Copper, Metallic Blue and Matte Black. Its starting price is Rs 1.35 lakh. The new FZ-X will also be launched in a few weeks. It will get many new features and cosmetic updates. There is a possibility that the price of the new model may be slightly higher than the current model. There is a possibility that it can be launched at an initial price of Rs 1.4 lakh.
Bike is equipped with smart features
The FZ-X was the first Yamaha bike in India to come with Bluetooth connectivity. It can be connected to Yamaha’s Y-Connect app. With this, the message and call information of the smartphone is available through the instrument cluster icon. Apart from this, through the app, you can find out where the bike was last parked, information is available in case of mileage or any kind of fault. The new bike competes with Hero Xtreme 160R, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Honda X-Blade, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Suzuki Gixxer 155.
