New Delhi (ANI). Bollywood star Anushka Sharma thanked everyone on Tuesday as she managed to raise Rs 5 crore through her campaign to raise funds for the COVID-19 relief work. The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actress reported this on Instagram and shared on the story, which wrote, ‘Big thanks to all those who helped us reach this milestone.’
Anushka salutes health workers
Anushka on Sunday shared a post for all healthcare and frontline workers praising her efforts. Anushka said, “We want to say thank you to all our health services and frontline workers, their dedication is truly inspiring.” He added, “You are risking your life for the nation, and for that, we are eternally grateful to you. You are a real hero, Virat and I are looking forward to contribute to the nation.” The second wave of Corona virus has infected millions of people, and the number of Covid-19 positive cases is increasing rapidly. In Bollywood too, celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Arjun Rampal, Manish Malhotra have become infected within a few weeks.
Anushka stayed away from the news
Meanwhile, Anushka gave birth to a baby girl earlier this year and she is currently enjoying Motherhood. The couple has named their daughter Vamika. The actress has been away from the headlines for the last two years. She was last seen in ‘Zero’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. He recently produced two films. Which includes the Amazon Prime Video web series ‘Patal Lok’ and the Netflix film ‘Bulbul’.
