fake imagesAntony Price, the British fashion designer responsible for some of the favorite looks of David Bowie, Roxy Music and Queen Camilla, among others, has died at the age of 80.
Price was best known for his sculpted silhouettes and theatrical styles, including the pastel suits that appeared in the rock band Duran Duran’s Rio music video.
The band issued a statement on social media remembering him as a “visionary” and a “kind, intelligent and resourceful friend.”
Price’s death comes less than a month after she presented her last collection in more than 30 years in London, where singer Lily Allen modeled a dress inspired by the black velvet “revenge dress” worn by Diana, Princess of Wales.
