Coronavirus Pandemic: Dr. Kuvadia said that although the effect of Kovid-19 is less in children, the condition can worsen if they have tuberculosis of any type of disease in children.
Dr. Kuwadia told the weekly ‘Saturday Independent’ that he and his wife, Dr. Zubi Hamid, have been vaccinated to prevent infection. “Corona virus has been present for a long time, but I have never seen a disease like Kovid-19,” he said. According to John Hopkins University, there are 1,557,527 cases of infection in South Africa and 53,256 people have died.
Kuvadia is known worldwide for his important research on mother-to-child HIV / AIDS. He said that although the effect of Kovid-19 in children is less, but if any type of disease in children, such as tuberculosis, can worsen the situation.
Regarding the seventh edition of his book, he said, “All the books (medical related) we had in 1984 were written by the British.
