New Delhi (PTI) Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has donated to a gurdwara in Delhi to help tackle the Corona virus crisis. Big B donated Rs 2 crore to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Kovid Care Center at Rakab Ganj Sahib. Manjinder Singh Sirsa, chairman of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, shared the news on Twitter. Sirsa wrote on Sunday, “Sikhs are great, salute their service.”
He said that when Delhi was facing a shortage in oxygen supply, Bachchan was inquiring about the progress in the facility every day. Operations started with 300 beds here from Monday afternoon.
Oxygen cylinder arranged
In another tweet, Sirsa reported that the 78-year-old actor has also arranged for oxygen cylinders from abroad for convenience. They said,
“He is not just a reel hero but a real life hero.” During “Wax Live: The Concert to Ryenight the World” aired on Sunday, Bachchan also urged the global community to help India, which is currently reeling from a deadly second wave of the Corona virus epidemic.
Amitabh had said, “My country is facing the second wave of India COVID-19. As a citizen I appeal to all citizens of the country and the world to talk to their governments, their pharmaceutical companies and donate them Ask to do.
