Dhanbad. The craze of getting tattoos is increasing rapidly among the youth to distinguish themselves from the crowd and to express their feelings towards someone special. Especially the trend of tattoos is being seen more among college students. Along with fashion and style, now tattoos have also become a medium to express emotions, faith and relationships.
These special styles are trending
While boys are preferring to get tattoos done on their hands, shoulders and neck, girls are showing more interest in getting tattoos done on the neck, fingers and wrists. Designs like butterfly, angel, flower, chandelier and pendant are quite popular among girls. Along with this, the trend of getting names of mother, father and oneself written has also increased rapidly. This trend includes college girls as well as women of all ages.
The secret of mental peace is hidden
At the same time, the craze of getting religious and spiritual tattoos is being seen more among men. Mahadev, Om, Trishul, symbols and mantras related to parents are becoming the first choice of men. Youth believe that such tattoos make them feel mental peace and spiritual connection.
Dhanbad’s tattoo artist Manoj Kumar says that nowadays youth are getting tattoos related to spirituality and parents on their hands, neck, neck and shoulders. There is high demand among girls for chandeliers on fingers, butterflies on wrists and tattoos related to Mahadev. Manoj tells that he has taken training in tattoo art from Mumbai and Pune. When he went to Mumbai-Pune in search of employment, he got the idea of learning tattoo art. Earlier it was called ‘Godna’, which has been known since the time of our ancestors, but now it has become popular by the name of tattoo.
According to Manoj, it took him about two years to learn tattoo art. After this, he got the machine and colors from Mumbai and started making tattoos by roaming in the fairs of Dhanbad. Today he sets up his tattoo shop in various villages of Dhanbad, Vaishbu and especially in fairs. At present, he will set up his shop in Bathinda Fruit Fair for about two months and will provide tattoo making services to the people.
The price of tattoo is decided according to the design. Manoj says that he charges Rs 100 to Rs 300 per inch. There are many people who are getting their already made tattoos removed and getting them tattooed in a new design.
However, caution is very important while getting a tattoo. Manoj says that tattoos should always be done by a professional artist. Getting a tattoo done wrong can also put you at risk of serious diseases like skin infection and cancer. Professional artists make tattoos keeping the skin in mind and take complete precautions. In this, it is necessary for every customer to use new needle and use of good quality ink.
There are mainly two types of tattoos – temporary and permanent. Permanent tattoo is forever, whereas temporary tattoo is done on wedding, party or any special occasion. Temporary tattoo lasts for 10 to 15 days. The process of making both tattoos is almost the same, the only difference is the ink used.
Overall, tattoos are no longer just a fashion but are becoming a symbol of the thoughts, feelings and beliefs of the youth.
