An American YouTuber recently visited the holy Golden Temple in Amritsar. He was quite surprised by the hospitality given by the Punjabi community in India. Actually, a YouTuber named Arieh Smith, who is also known as Xiaomanyc or Xiaomi, had come to India. In his blog, he can be seen interacting with many strangers. But the thing that stole the limelight was the YouTuber’s attempt to speak Punjabi. In his clip, many people were stunned to see a foreigner speaking Punjabi.
Although many people tried to ask him from where did he learn Punjabi. In response to the question, the YouTuber revealed that he learned to speak Punjabi from the internet.
YouTuber gets love and free food from locals
Another thing that surprised Arieh was the free food he used to get from the local hawkers. He told, ‘I had recently visited Amritsar. During this time people gave me many things for free. I was completely stunned to see this.
YouTuber says that when I used to speak Punjabi, people used to get quite surprised. He told in his blog that the shopkeepers did not take money from him. Many times people used to pay in advance for their food. Erih was quite impressed by the generosity of the people.

A part of the video also shows Arieh’s journey inside the Golden Temple. After carefully reading the instruction outside the temple, Arieh washes his feet before entering the holy place. He was also joined by two strangers who greeted him warmly and joined him during the langar. After eating the langar prasad, Arieh visited the area where hundreds of volunteers gather to help prepare food for the millions of people who visit the Golden Temple every day. The YouTuber also interacted with a group of children while taking a dip in the temple. Arieh Smith’s Golden Temple blog has received more than 5 lakh views on YouTube so far.
