While a flight from Delhi to Leh was available for just Rs 1,540, an ordinary cab from Gurugram to Greater Noida was available for Rs 1,952. This shocking comparison sparked debate on the internet: Is it better to catch a flight than take a cab?
Recently, one such comparison is going viral on social media, in which a user said that taking a flight from Delhi to Leh is cheaper than taking a cab from Gurugram to Greater Noida. A user named Aryansh, a resident of Delhi, shared screenshots of both the flight and the cab. The fare for SpiceJet’s Delhi-Leh flight was Rs 1,540, while an Uber ride from Gurugram to Greater Noida was showing Rs 1,952.
