Bhojpur: A surprising news has come out from Bhojpur district of Bihar. Here a villager has neither a farm, nor a boring nor an electricity connection. Even after this, the electricity department has imposed fine on two villagers here. This whole matter is of Kodhwa village of Jagdishpur block. Last month, the electricity department had registered a case against six people for using stolen electricity to power their fields. Of these, there are 2 people who neither have their own farm, nor a boring machine nor a motor vehicle. In this entire matter, former MLA’s brother Dinesh has submitted a memorandum along with the victims to the Executive Engineer of Jagdishpur Division of the Electricity Department on Monday demanding action.
Case was filed against 6 people
Let us tell you that the Electricity Department team had raided Kodhwa village on July 21 and registered a case against 6 people for destroying the fields with stolen electricity. Not only this, a fine of Rs 68 thousand per person was also imposed. When police and department people reached the village to investigate this case, the matter turned out to be different.
Nand Kishore Singh, involved in this case, neither has a farm, nor a motor nor a boring. At the same time, Shri Ram Bahadur Singh also does not have any farm, boring or motor. Both are saints due to lack of fields. Don’t do farming at all. Nevertheless, after getting information about the case from the police and department people, the victims were greatly troubled during the last elections.
The former MLA of Jagdishpur said that on the first day of this week, he met with the affected people and submitted a memorandum to the Executive Engineer regarding the entire matter. Told the executive engineer and the officers involved in the case that if there is any video or photo of powering with stolen electricity, then bring it forward and take action. Otherwise they should investigate within a week and return the case.
He said that if this is not done, the victims will file a case in the court. Then a case will be registered against the officers and employees who imposed fake cases and fines. At the same time, the Executive Engineer says that a memorandum has been received regarding the fake case filed by the victims along with the former MLA. The matter will be investigated and action will be taken as per rules.
