Mera Kisan Private Limited was established in 2016 as a subsidiary of Mahindra Agri Solutions Limited. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra. It works closely with organic farmers with the help of certification, technical support and organic and nutritious foods. Ashok Sharma, managing director and CEO of Mahindra Agri Solutions, said Rahane would hold a minority stake in the company.

Pure and organic honey and eggs can also be purchased from here. Regarding the startup of Mera Kisan, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Agri Solutions, Ashok Sharma said that they buy goods directly from farmers and sell them through this platform. Farmers can directly connect with them.

Rahane told why he was attracted to invest- When Rahane was asked why he decided to become an investor, he said that as a cricketer, our routine is very focused since childhood. The more cricket I played, the more I got the chance to roam. During that time I got to meet new people, get to know them and also get to know about the various lucrative businesses they are doing.
Rahane said that it is important to plan a life after cricket and that is why in the early times partnered with the lucrative Business Venture, which could become a good business in the future. Who is Akhil Ranade- Akhil Ranade is a sports marketing professional who started his career with the sports marketing divisions of advertising giants O&M and DDB Mudra. He also worked in the sports consulting division of IMG. His last stint was at Puma before starting his own company Achilles Sports in 2014. Along with this, he also worked with Rahane.
