Air of Faridabad-Gurugram again becomes poisonous, AQI crosses 500 in many areas

Faridabad: Faridabad and Gurugram, being part of Delhi-NCR, have always been facing the brunt of pollution, today the wind made the situation even worse. As soon as I went out in the morning, I felt a heavy mist, a prickling sensation in my throat and a burning sensation in my breath. It felt as if dust had dissolved in the air and even breathing had become a burden.

Staying in this level of air for even a short time can increase problems like eye irritation, cough and headache.

In comparison, AQI is slightly less in Sector 30. However, even here the air is not safe. Here the level of PM 2.5 was recorded at 162 micrograms per cubic meter. The higher the PM2.5, the more dangerous it is because these particles go directly into the lungs and cause problems. The situation is also not good in New Industrial Town. Here the level of PM2.5 was found to be 174, which shows the abundance of fine dust particles in the air.

AQI in Sector 28 is 489, which means the air is in severe category. Going out without a mask in such air can prove to be a direct threat to health. AQI 523 has been recorded in Sector 56, which clearly shows how bad the air quality is. Whereas in Sector 65 this level is 455, which indicates the continuously deteriorating environment.

Air level in both cities is very worrying

Overall, the air quality in both the cities is very worrying. In such a situation, people must wear masks while going out, especially N95 masks. Morning and evening walks and children playing in the open should be avoided for now. To avoid pollution, use of air purifiers in homes can also be helpful.

The government and administration are also expected to take necessary steps so that this poison present in the air can be reduced soon. At present, caution is the biggest protection, because this air of Delhi-NCR is not safe for anyone.
