AIIMS Fire: A fire broke out on the 9th floor of AIIMS in Delhi. 20 vehicles of fire tenders are present at the spot to control the fire.
New Delhi. A fire has broken out in the ninth floor of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital in the capital Delhi. As soon as the information about the fire broke out in AIIMS, 20 fire tenders have reached the spot and started relief and rescue work. However, it is not yet known what caused the fire.
No casualties have been reported as of now. It is not known whether anyone was on the 9th floor at the time of the fire. Director of Delhi Fire Services Atul Garg said that 20 fire tenders have reached the spot. He said that the work of extinguishing the fire of the building is going on, it will be brought under control soon.
Media reports say that there is a fire in the convergence block of AIIMS. The Convergence Block building houses most of the laboratories and examination sections.
