Agra. Aman Agarwal, who lives near Bhairav Nala in Taj Nagri Agra, could not sleep the whole night when he saw a street dog dragging and walking. He thought of doing something for the street dogs who got injured in the road accident. With this idea, he started Wheels of Happiness. Dogs injured in road accidents are getting help from this wheelchair. Initially, he made this wheelchair for the purpose of helping dogs whose hip is broken, but now it has taken the form of business.
During the lockdown in the year 2021, Aman Agarwal came in contact with a dog lover NGO, Caspers Home and did a lot of service to street dogs. During this, he noticed that some dogs whose hip is broken are dragging the back part of the body. It was from here that Aman developed the idea of helping such dogs. He saw a wheelchair online which was very expensive. In order to find a cheap trick, he first made a wheelchair of PVC pipe, but it was not strong. Then he made an aluminum wheelchair, which was successful.
In this way, he gave his first wheelchair to Caspers Home NGO and named it ‘Wheels of Happiness’. The injured dog for whom he made this wheelchair, made a video wearing it. 98 thousand people saw it after posting it on Instagram.
Aman says that when that street dog started walking on the first wheelchair made by him, he felt very happy. People are now ordering it after seeing the video uploaded on Instagram. He has donated 50 wheelchairs so far. Whereas, this wheelchair is sold in the market for Rs.5,000. There are different sizes of wheelchairs made by him. They are engaged in making it more advanced. So at the same time, with the help of family members, Aman is going to start a startup slowly.
Social work is also behind this fame of Aman, which is now taking the form of business.
