Deals for BrahMos missiles are in the final stages with India’s friendly countries. In Operation Sindoor, BrahMos had paralyzed the Pakistani airbase. New Delhi. The whole world saw the condition of Pakistan by the Indian Army during Operation Sindoor. BrahMos destroyed almost all the airbases of Pakistan. In such a situation, demand for BrahMos missile is coming from all over the world. Deals for BrahMos missiles made in joint venture with Russia are in the final stages with many friendly countries of India. News agency ANI quoted defense sources as saying that these deals are worth about $450 million and are likely to be signed in the near future.
The world is convinced of the high-level accuracy of BrahMos.
The high-level accuracy of BrahMos and its ability to target and dismantle several Pakistani airbases for a long period of time has impressed these countries. After these deals, widespread interest is being seen in BrahMos missiles in many other countries of the world. Recently this missile was displayed at the Dubai Air Show, where many potential buyer countries viewed it with great enthusiasm. India’s Defense Ministry approved the procurement of a large number of missiles for Indian Navy warships and ground and air launched versions for the Indian Air Force soon after the effectiveness of BrahMos missiles in Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. During the four-day conflict, BrahMos targeted Pakistani airbases and army cantonments.
Apart from Navy, Sukhoi will also get the power of BrahMos.
The Navy plans to equip its warships with BrahMos missiles, while the Indian Air Force will use these missiles to arm its fleet of Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft. Praising the role of indigenous weapon systems during Operation Sindoor, the Prime Minister had said, “The world saw the capabilities of our indigenous weapons. Our air defense systems, missiles and drones proved the strength of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, especially the BrahMos missiles.” In the first phase, India attacked terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan, including the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. BrahMos missiles continue to serve as the main weapon of the Indian Air Force and engage targets with extreme accuracy.
