On the instructions of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, new responsibilities of the departments have been fixed, so that the administrative work is not affected in any way. Under the new departmental division, the responsibility of Road Construction Department has now been handed over to former Bihar BJP President and Industries Minister Dilip Jaiswal. Before this, Nitin Nabin was handling the responsibility of road construction department.

At the same time, the responsibility of Urban Development and Housing Department has been given to Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha. Urban Development Department is an important department related to development of urban areas, cleanliness, drinking water, housing and basic facilities. After Vijay Sinha gets this responsibility, it is expected that the government’s priority on schemes related to urban development will intensify. Whereas the road construction department is considered an important department related to the infrastructure of the state, in such a situation, Dilip Jaiswal will have a big challenge to complete the road projects on time.

It is noteworthy that after becoming the working national president of BJP, Nitin Nabin had resigned today itself.
