How to keep Chakla-belan: Chakla-belan is such a thing which can be easily found in every house. In Vastu Shastra, this is the symbol of Mother Annapurna and Lakshmi. It should be kept clean, in the right direction with love and respect. With proper maintenance, happiness, peace, wealth and positive energy remain in the house. Local 18 spoke to Swami Kameshwaranand Vedantacharya of Faridabad about this.
In Vastu Shastra, Chakla-Belan is considered to be the form of Mother Annapurna and Lakshmi. Keeping it properly is very important for the prosperity and peace of the house. Negativity increases in the house if kept in the wrong place and in the wrong way.
According to Mahant Swami Kameshwaranand Vedantacharya, always feed the first roti made from Chakla-Belan to mother cow. It contains the energy of 33 crore gods. This calms down the effects of Pitradosh and Rahu-Ketu.
Always clean the chakla-belan properly after making roti. Keep it upright and in a safe place. Keeping it upside down or leaving it dirty creates Vaastu defects and the positive energy of the house gets affected.

The biggest Vaastu defect is to make the cylinder stand on a wheel or make it lie upside down. This stops the prosperity of the house. Throwing the rolling pin here and there in irritation displeases Goddess Lakshmi.
Always keep Chakla-Belan with love and respect. Due to this there is no shortage of food and money in the house. If there is a shortage of money for a long time, then buy a new rolling pin on Friday and donate it to a needy woman.
Keep Chakla-Belan on a clean shelf in the south-east or north-east. Keeping it on the ground is inauspicious. Keep it covered before sleeping at night. Leaving it open increases negative energy and affects the morning meal.
If the chakla-belan is old or broken then float it in running water or donate it to a temple. Use only new rolling pin at home. Keeping old things in the house is considered inauspicious.
