New Delhi. Tata Motors is going to launch the dark edition of another popular model. The company has shared the video of the Dark Edition of Safari on social media. The company will launch it on Monday, January 17. The Tata Safari to come in the Dark Edition is the company’s fourth model.
Earlier last year, Tata Motors launched Dark Edition variants of Harrier SUV, Nexon sub-compact SUV and Altroz premium hatchback. In the teaser shared by Tata Motors, the grille of Safari’s three-row 7-seater SUV has been shown in dark color.

Might get some cosmetic updates
It is likely to come with cosmetic updates like Harrier, Nexon and Altroz Dark Edition. Exteriors are expected to match the all-black theme as well as some elements inside the cabin to match its ‘dark’ appeal. Rest of the specifications of the Safari SUV are expected to remain the same. Tata Motors launched the Safari SUV back in early 2020. Later in September, the company also launched the Gold Edition variant of the Safari SUV. In the three-row SUV segment, Safari gives tough competition to Hyundai Alcazar and Mahindra XUV700.
Tata Safari has three driving modes
The Tata Safari SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine. This car generates the maximum power of 168 bhp. Not only this, this SUV also comes with the option of 6-speed manual transmission. This SUV also has three driving modes. First city, second sports and third eco driving mode.

Talking about the features of Safari, it will get 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with IRA Connected Car Technology, Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, 9-speaker JBL sound system, wireless charger, air purifier, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, automatic AC Features like . EBD, ABS, traction control, 6 airbags, rear parking sensors and corner stability control are standard and safety features along with tire pressure monitoring.
