Air condition of Faridabad: Today’s AQI in Faridabad reached 398 which falls in the dangerous category. At many places the air quality has been recorded between 200 to 400+. In areas like Sector 16A, AQI continues to remain above 200.
Faridabad: The air of Delhi-NCR is once again spewing poison and its biggest impact is clearly visible in areas like Faridabad and Gurugram. Cold morning, blanket of fog and stinging sensation in the eyes today’s entire atmosphere is telling that the poisonous particles in the air have increased a lot. It is becoming difficult for people to even breathe and the situation is so bad that masks have now become not just a means to avoid disease but a shield to avoid pollution.
Today’s AQI 398 in Faridabad
Air condition of Faridabad: Today’s AQI in Faridabad reached 398 which falls in the dangerous category. At many places the air quality has been recorded between 200 to 400+. In areas like Sector 16A, AQI continues to remain above 200. People sensitive to such air like the elderly, children, asthmatics or heart patients are advised to avoid going out. It has become necessary for people going out to wear good masks like N95.
The situation in Ballabhgarh is no less
The situation in Ballabhgarh is also no less. The AQI here is said to be between 209 to 235, which falls in the severe to dangerous level. The amount of PM10 and PM2.5 in the air is very high. In industrial areas like New Industrial Town (NIT) AQI has reached 230+ due to which people are having trouble breathing. Be it traders opening shops or employees going on morning duty, everyone is feeling the burden of this heavy pollution.
The air of many areas of Gurugram is poisonous
Even in Gurugram today the condition of air is very bad. In many areas AQI was recorded between dangerous and very poor. By 7 am in Sector 43, AQI reached 310, which is a level that directly affects the lungs. The overall AQI of the city is said to be around 323, which clearly shows that the entire area is in the grip of pollution. In Sector 57, AQI was recorded between 250 to 260 in the morning, which also falls in the very poor category. Apart from this, according to IQAir, the air quality in different parts of Gurugram remained between 158 to 209, which is forcing people to wear masks continuously.
Health expert gave advice
The situation in the entire NCR is such that morning walk, running, sports or walking for long distances is not safe at all. Doctors advise to use air purifiers at home, drink lukewarm water, and avoid going out unnecessarily. In short, today’s wind is giving us a clear warning that caution is safety.
