Actually, T-18 racks are currently used in Vande Bharat Express train. But, for some time, Tejas Express with LHB coach will be used in it. Since the launch of the T-18 rack, not even once has been sent for maintenance. However, now the T-18 rack will be sent to the factory for intermediate overhauling. Only after coming from maintenance, the rack will be used in Vande Bharat Express. The schedule for maintenance of T-18 racks has been fixed. They will be sent to Charbagh in Lucknow and Shakur Basti Maintenance Shed of Delhi. Necessary arrangements have been made for this.
According to the rules, after the completion of 18 months or running of 6 lakh kilometers, overhauling of T-18 rack is necessary, but this process could not be completed till now.

In 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the flag to the Vande Bharat Express for his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. This ‘Made in India’ train covers the distance between New Delhi and Varanasi in 8 hours. It runs 5 days a week except Mondays and Thursdays.

Apart from AC coaches, passengers in Vande Bharat Express get many special features. The train also features high speed WiFi, GPS based PIS, touch free bio vacuum toilets, mobile charging slots, automatic climate control system and LED lights.

This 16-coach AC train also has 2 executive coaches, out of which only 52 seats. Apart from this, there are 78 seats in other coaches. Rotating seats in executive class so that the train can sit comfortably in the direction of moving.
