Strawberry Farming Tips: Farmers of Ranchi are earning Rs 50,000 every month by cultivating strawberries in huge 1 acre. They say that there is so much demand for it in the market that sales are achieved through advance booking. By keeping some things in mind, the yield is good.
Ranchi. Vishal is a farmer from the capital Ranchi, who is currently cultivating strawberries and is doing it in 1 acre of land and is earning Rs 50,000 from it every month. He said, the demand for strawberries is very good in the market and here we directly pack and distribute them in the market. But to get a good yield, the farmer will have to pay special attention to three or four things.
People take advance booking
Farmer Vishal says, people take strawberries here by making advance booking. If we see from outside that the strawberries are now growing in the form, then we tell in advance whether we want 5 kg or 10 kg. So many times we are not able to provide enough even in the market. At least 10 kg is used every day and its price in the market is up to Rs 200 per kg.
Cultivate strawberries in this manner
He told, if you want to earn good profit from strawberry (which is also called celebrity fruit, because celebrities also eat it a lot and there is redness on the face), then first of all you will have to use mulching paper to grow it. This paper is a panacea for strawberries. Apply it on the surface of the soil and plant a plant.
this will be beneficial
The benefit of mulching paper will be that weeds will not bother you, moisture will remain in the soil and the possibility of insects getting infested is greatly reduced. It is also quite easy to administer insecticides into the roots. You do not have to buy pesticides from the market. All you have to do is take one spoon of Neem oil and add one mug of water to it and pour the same on the plant little by little.
These are to be used as fertilizer
You can also give any one of these four fertilizers to your strawberry, such as compost, compost tea, potassium-rich fertilizer, blood meal, fish meal or soya meal. It is good if any one of these is available. Try not to use market fertilizer and make it on your farm or at home.
