ACB Action: Female police officer demanded a bribe of 2 crores, the pimp made the complainant open her clothes, arrested

Jaipur. Taking a major action on Monday, the ACB has arrested Ajmer SOG’s Additional SP Divya Mittal (Divya Mittal Arrested). It is alleged that a bribe of Rs 2 crore was demanded from a drug dealer in Haridwar for not making an arrest in a NDPS case. Additional SP Divya Mittal had demanded this amount of bribe from the accused businessman through Sumit Kumar, a dismissed police constable of Udaipur Police. In this, Additional SP Divya Mittal herself asked for Rs 50 lakh in her office during ACB verification.

After registering a case, the Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted searches on Monday at five locations of ASP Divya Mittal in Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer and Jhunjhunu. This action was taken by the team formed under the leadership of Additional SP Bajrang Singh Shekhawat. The investigation of the case has been handed over to DSP Mangilal. After the disclosure of this whole matter, there was a stir among the officers of the police department.

The complainant was called on the pretext of inquiry by giving notice on January 3
According to ACB’s ADG Dinesh MN, two cases were registered under the NDPS Act in the year 2021 at Ramganj police station in Ajmer. Haridwar’s drug dealer was made accused in this case of drug smuggling. Both these cases were transferred to SOG for investigation. Their investigation was handed over to Additional SP Divya Mittal, in-charge of SOG Ajmer. In this case, after giving a notice, on January 3, the businessman was called to the SOG office in Ajmer for questioning.

ASP asked the victim businessman to go to Udaipur
It is alleged that there ASP Divya Mittal asked him to go towards Udaipur in gestures saying that he would give relief to the businessman. The complainant businessman told that Divya Mittal also said that you will get a call. After talking to Divya Mittal, the businessman left for Udaipur. Then on the way he got a call. The caller accused called the businessman to Nathdwara. When the business complainant reached Nathdwara, he was asked to come to Udaipur.

The businessman was escorted to Udaipur
The accused involved in the game of bribery were so cunning that they put their two vehicles in front and behind the businessman’s car. They escorted him on January 3 and took him to a resort in Udaipur. That resort is being told to be of Divya Mittal. The accused took off the clothes of the businessman. Searched him. Took his mobile phone. After that, threatening to save him from arrest in this case, a bribe amount of Rs 2 crore was demanded. The businessman refused to give Rs 2 crore. Then the dismissed constable Sumit Kumar talked about giving Rs 1 crore.

The complainant lodged a complaint with the ACB on January 4
Along with this, he also had a conversation with Divya Mittal of the businessman. The complainant businessman came from Udaipur saying to think for a few days. On January 4, the businessman reached the ACB headquarters and filed a complaint against Additional SP Divya Mittal and dismissed constable Sumit Kumar. The ACB verified the complaint on 8 January. Got the victim businessman talked to Additional SP Divya Mittal over the phone. After this the businessman reached Ajmer to meet ASP Divya Mittal. There Divya Mittal talked to the businessman and demanded a bribe of Rs 50 lakh.

The accused constable kept on changing places
Asked to give this amount in two parts of Rs 25 lakh each. ACB reached Ajmer Road on 12 January. There it was decided to give Rs 25 lakh as the first installment out of Rs 50 lakh. Additional SP Divya Mittal told the complainant that she would get a call. After that, the dismissed constable Sumit Kumar called the businessman. He called the businessman to Ajmer Road. ACB laid a trap. But Sumit Kumar, the dismissed constable who came to take the bribe, kept calling the businessman by changing the place continuously. But he didn’t come. In such a situation, ACB could not take trap action.

Arrested in Jaipur after being detained from Ajmer
On the basis of sufficient evidence, the ACB registered a case against Additional SP Divya Mittal and dismissed constable Sumit Kumar. On January 15, the ACB took the warrant. ACB raided 5 locations of Additional SP Divya Mittal in Jaipur, Udaipur, Jhunjhunu and Ajmer on 16 January. On Monday afternoon, the ACB team reached Jaipur headquarters after taking ASP Divya Mittal into custody from Ajmer. After questioning here, ASP Divya Mittal was arrested by the ACB. Sacked constable Sumit doing brokerage is absconding.
