did not cheat
The woman further told that she got married for the second time in Thailand because the process there was easy and divorce papers were not asked for. After the post went viral, the Kelantan Islamic Religious Affairs Department (JAHEAIK) started investigating the matter. JAHEAIK official Mohd Asri Mat Dawood said that both the woman and her ex-husband have given statements. Both of them confirmed that their marriage had ended in 2022 itself. Therefore, the allegation that the woman had two husbands together was proved wrong. In Malaysia, Muslim marriages and divorces must be registered under Islamic law.
