AIDS Patients Varanasi: Every month 15 to 20 AIDS patients are coming forward in Varanasi. The identity of those undergoing treatment here is being kept confidential. Earlier only referral cases were reported at this centre. Now patients themselves are coming for examination. More than 100 people are being tested for HIV every month at this centre.

The data received from the HIV Center of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Government Hospital is testifying to this. These figures are also a matter of concern.

At present, the young generation is becoming its victim more. Every month more than 100 people are being tested for HIV at this centre.
These 2 reasons are fatal
Dr. Vandana Singh said that HIV is a dangerous disease. For this, our team is also continuously running awareness campaigns. For this, information is given from time to time to medical colleges, students and nursing colleges through seminars and other mediums. Dr. Vandana says that recently the young generation is most affected by this. AIDS can be spread through unprotected sex and using open syringes.
These are the initial symptoms
According to Dr. Vandana Singh, sudden weight loss, frequent mouth ulcers, lumps in the body, frequent diarrhea and sometimes TV like symptoms also occur in such patients. These are the main initial symptoms of AIDS, as soon as they appear, get tested for HIV at the nearest ART center.
