Nawada: If you travel by road then the biggest problem you face here is traffic jam. If we talk about Nawada district, people here face problems due to jams on the State Highway Road and National Highway. Therefore, these problems have also been shown on Local 18. Now the good news is that Bihar government has given a big gift to Nawada district. In the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, 13 new road and bridge construction schemes were approved, which also includes two important schemes of Nawada. An expenditure of approximately Rs 100 crore has been estimated on these schemes. Through these projects, the roads of the district will not only be widened but will also be made stronger. This will make traffic easier, faster and safer.
Nawada will get relief from jam
People passing through the roads of Nawada district facing the problems of traffic jam every day will get relief in the coming year. Now on the roads here too, vehicles will be able to travel at the speed prescribed by the State Highway and National Highway. The government has started working for this. The special thing is that these schemes will not only solve the problem of traffic jam, but will also greatly benefit agriculture, markets and connectivity of rural areas. State Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen said that by 2027, the government aims to cover the distance from any corner of the state to the capital Patna in a maximum of three and a half hours. After the completion of these schemes in Nawada, this dream will be seen coming true.
Nawada got these two big projects:
1. Construction of Hisua Bypass
This bypass will be 2.90 km long from Bagodar of NH-82 to Karamchak via Ursa Ahar of SH-8. With its construction, passengers going towards Gaya, Nawada, Sikandra, Jamui and Deoghar will get relief from severe traffic jams.
2. Widening and strengthening of 13.70 km road
This road will reach Akbarpur (SH-103) via Ledha, Kajhia, Nad, Kulna, Kaushi and Bhumai in Nawada district. Approval of Rs 6970.23 lakh has been given for this project.
It is noteworthy that Local18 had earlier also done several ground reports on the problems faced by people due to traffic jams and dilapidated roads in Nawada. The government took the voice of the local people seriously and now a big step has been taken in that direction.
