Washington: The area with the tightest security in America is not only the White House but also an area where the security is so terrible that even if a common man is seen, he is shot. This mysterious area is in the desert of America, around which fencing has been done, the security here is no less than the messenger of Yamraj. The name of this area is ‘Area 51’, which the US government describes as just a test range, while many terrifying theories have emerged from all over the world regarding it. One of these theories is alien conspiracy.
What officially goes on in Area 51?
‘Area 51’ in dry Groom Lake in southern Nevada is a very secret base of the US Air Force. The official name of this area is ‘Nevada Test and Training Range’ but its real name is Area 51. Not just these two, this area is also known by many other sensational names, which include nicknames like ‘Paradise Ranch’, ‘The Ranch’ and ‘Dreamland’.
History is related to cold war
The history of Area 51 is linked to the dreadful period of the Cold War. In April 1955, CIA officer Richard Bissell chose this site to conduct U-2 reconnaissance. The U-2 planes were designed for espionage against the Soviet Union, and this remote area was perfect for maintaining their secrecy.
The government had issued a statement
In July 1955, the CIA began testing U-2 spy planes. Later, high-tech and highly secretive aircraft like OXCART (supersonic A-12 aircraft) and F-117 stealth ground attack jet were also tested on this ground. The CIA acknowledged these tests by releasing documents in 2013. These documents made it clear that the reason for its secrecy was to hide information from the Soviet Union, not an alien encounter!
What are Area 51 Conspiracy Theories?
Despite government clarifications, many conspiracy theories regarding Area 51 went viral, one of which is the alien theory. It is claimed that a UFO crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. It is claimed that the debris of the UFO and the bodies of the aliens present in it were secretly brought to Area 51. Theorists believe that American scientists here are reverse engineering those alien spacecraft. That is, they are trying to steal their cutting-edge technology and use it for themselves.
This claim became more sensational when in 1989 a man, Bob Lazarus, started being interviewed incessantly. This person described himself as associated with the physicists working on the alien spacecraft of Area 51.
Area 51 is 120 miles from Las Vegas and the 38,400 acres surrounding it were evacuated in 1958. Armed guards patrol all around it and it is completely impossible to enter the airspace above it.
People’s madness regarding this area
But the madness among people to know the secret of this area is so dangerous that in 2019, a Facebook event was launched, named ‘Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us’. Under this event, more than 5 lakh people had planned to enter the area. These people wanted to see aliens there. When the US Air Force came to know about this, they immediately issued a warning. In September 2019, when the day of ‘Dhaawa’ arrived, only about 200 people turned up outside the gate, who were easily controlled by the security guards and two people were arrested.
