A painful incident has come to light in Ohio, USA, where Jody Proger, a 64-year-old woman who took care of deer for 12 years, died after being attacked by the same animal which she considered her family.

But when this work is done by an animal, who does not know the ways of humans, then who should be held guilty in this? One such surprising incident has come to light in America. Here a woman was killed by her pet deer, which she used to keep like family at home.
A painful incident has come to light in Ohio, USA, where Jody Proger, a 64-year-old woman who took care of deer for 12 years, died after being attacked by the same animal which she considered her family. Jodi used to take care of several deer on her five-acre home, but unfortunately a buck (male deer) attack took her life. According to reports, the pair got trapped in a deer enclosure, where a buck attacked them fiercely. As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot, and as the deer was extremely aggressive, the officers had to shoot it so that they could reach the pair.

Belmont County Sheriff James Zusack said, “The family tried to restrain and remove the deer before police arrived so Jodi could be reached, but the animal was too aggressive. Ultimately, the deer had to be euthanized at the scene for safety’s sake,” the Mirror reports. Unfortunately, by the time the police arrived, Jodi had died on the spot due to serious injuries.
