Teeth Cleaning Tips: Most people start cleaning their teeth with toothbrush and toothpaste as soon as they wake up in the morning. But, many times it happens that even after daily brushing, yellowness, stains, bad smell, tartar or yellow layer remains on the teeth. The real reason is that toothpaste removes dirt only from the surface of the teeth. The glow comes from within when cleaning is done with something that contains natural minerals, calcium and cleaning agents. That is why many dental experts now recommend using natural things a few times a week. Similarly, Khandwa’s dental expert Dr. Dinesh Gurjar tells that there is a remedy available in our house which, if used properly, reduces the yellowness of teeth to a great extent in 7-10 days.
What is that thing?
Doctor Gurjar explains that the mixture of baking soda and lemon available in our kitchen is considered very effective for cleaning teeth, but one should not make the mistake of applying lemon directly. Lemon is acidic and applying it directly can damage the enamel. Therefore, there is a mild and safe method, which he tells his patients.
Doctor’s recommended method
1 pinch baking soda
1 teaspoon coconut oil
2–3 drops lemon juice (optional)
How to use?
1. Take coconut oil in a small bowl.
2. Add just a pinch of baking soda in it.
3. If you wish, you can add 2–3 drops of lemon, but it is not mandatory.
4. Now rub this mixture gently on the teeth with your finger or a soft brush.
5. After massaging for 40–50 seconds, rinse with water.
How many times do it?
According to the doctor, do this remedy only 2-3 times a week.
Doing it every day is not good for the teeth.
Why is this mixture so effective?
Coconut oil removes the sticky layer on the surface of teeth and reduces bad breath. Baking soda, being slightly alkaline, gradually removes the yellow layer from the surface of the teeth. 2–3 drops of lemon slightly activate the mixture, making the teeth look clean and shiny. Doctor Dinesh Gurjar explains that this method does not harm the teeth, provided it is not done more than once a week and is not rubbed for too long.
keep these things in mind
1. Do not use the recipe if you have tooth sensitivity, bleeding gums or pain.
2. Always keep the quantity of baking soda less.
3. Do not apply lemon directly on the teeth.
4. It is necessary to brush twice daily with normal toothpaste.
5. This method is sufficient only for 2-3 days a week.
