Earthquake and tsunami have caused huge devastation on Sumantra island of Indonesia. Due to this the number of people killed has increased to 248. Officials have expressed fear that the death toll will increase further. Rescue workers struggled on Saturday to reach affected people in many areas of Indonesia devastated by the earthquake and tsunami. Due to bad roads and communication disruption, communication with these areas has been cut off. Relief and rescue planes are delivering aid and supplies to the central Tapanuli district of North Sumatra province and other districts in the area.
