Strictness on health services: The government has taken a strict stance on doctors who are negligent in health services in Uttar Pradesh. Instructions have been issued to dismiss seven doctors who were absent from service for a long time without notice. Besides, action has also been intensified against other negligent officers and employees.
Lucknow: An important news has come out from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, where the Uttar Pradesh government has taken decisive action against indiscipline in the health department and doctors who are constantly absent. Deputy CM and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak has instructed the Additional Chief Secretary to dismiss from service the seven doctors who were absent without notice. Along with this, orders for departmental action have also been given against many other employees who were negligent in the department.
Big impact of action on Mainpur
The biggest impact of this action of the government has been on Mainpuri district, where the maximum number of four doctors have been dismissed. An order for action has been issued against Dr. Sharad Kumar Gupta, posted at the Primary Health Center in Lekhrajpur, Mainpuri, after his absence was confirmed. Similarly, Dr. Rajendra Kumar Maurya of Bhogaon Community Health Center was also found absent without notice, who has been included in the list.
Its adverse impact on health services
Apart from this, Dr. Lalit Kumar Pandey of Sanda Primary Health Center and Dr. Arun Kumar Singh of Karhal Primary Health Center were also not present on duty for a long time. It was having an adverse effect on health services in Mainpuri district, after which strict action has been taken against these four. A case of irresponsibility has also come to light from Saharanpur district. Dr. Bhavnesh Kapoor posted at Sadhauli Kadeem Primary Health Center was found absent without any information. After receiving the report on his condition, the process of dismissing him has been started.
Pediatrician was absent for a long time
Dr. Ashutosh Tripathi, pediatrician of Hata Community Health Center in Kushinagar district, was also absent for a long time. The disappearance of a doctor holding an important position like a pediatrician is considered serious negligence towards health services. Dr. Venkatesh Srivastava posted in Barabanki was also found missing from duty without notice. Despite working under the CMO, his not reporting on time came to the notice of higher authorities and dismissal order has also been issued against him.
Laxity cannot be tolerated in the health department: Deputy CM
Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has made it clear that laxity or irresponsibility in the health department will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He said that the public deserves better health services and the absence of doctors not only hampers the system but also puts the lives of patients at risk. After these strict actions, a positive message has been sent regarding discipline in the health department. This step is also a warning to other employees that strictest action will be taken against absenteeism and negligence.
