Abhinav Kumar/Darbhanga: District Magistrate Kaushal Kumar heard the problems of the common people in the Janata Darbar and gave instructions for their immediate execution. Meanwhile, a battery operated tricycle was immediately provided to Mohd. Subhan, a disabled applicant from Sadar block. Mohd. Subhan is a resident of Sadar block and was facing great difficulties in transportation due to physical disability. He appeared before the District Magistrate in the Janata Darbar and demanded a motorized tricycle for livelihood and easy transportation. The District Magistrate, showing sensitivity, provided a battery operated tricycle on the spot to disabled Mohd. Subhan.
The District Magistrate seriously listened to the problems of Mohd. Subhan and directed Ashish Aman, Assistant Director, Divyangjan Empowerment Cell, Darbhanga to take immediate action. After this, a battery operated tricycle and helmet was given to Mohd. Subhan by the District Magistrate himself. While handing over the keys of the tricycle to the needy, the District Magistrate said that the district administration is determined to empower the disabled people and connect them with the main stream of the society. He expressed hope that with the help of this tricycle, Mohd. Subhan will not only become self-reliant, but will also find it easier in handling his daily tasks.

Beneficiary Mohd. Subhan expressed his gratitude to the district administration and especially the District Officer for this prompt assistance. On this occasion, Deputy Development Commissioner Swapnil, Additional Collector Disaster Management Salim Akhtar, Additional Collector Departmental Investigation Rakesh Kumar, Deputy Director Public Relations Satyendra Prasad etc. officers were present.
