Temperature continues to drop
The weather remained completely dry in the state within the last 24 hours. The maximum temperature was 29.2°C recorded in Durg and the minimum temperature was 6.0°C in Ambikapur. Due to the sudden drop in cold, people in the northern region are feeling chilly in the morning and night.

Impact of cyclonic storm ‘Ditwah’
According to the synoptic system, the deep depression formed over the south-west Bay of Bengal and Sri Lanka coast has now transformed into cyclonic storm ‘Ditwah’. This system may move in the north-northwest direction and affect the coastal areas of northern Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and southern Andhra Pradesh by November 30. Although this storm will not have a direct impact on Chhattisgarh, but the temperature may continue to drop.
