Uttarakhand Weather Update Today: The weather patterns in Uttarakhand are different in different areas. Where in the plain districts of the state the weather is dry and the temperature remains normal during the day. At the same time, a huge drop in temperature has been recorded in the higher Himalayan regions, due to which life is being affected. According to the information received, the temperature in Gangotri Dham is going below zero degree Celsius. Due to this sharp drop in temperature, the rivers, streams and waterfalls around the Dham have completely frozen. Along with Gangotri Dham, all the water sources in Nelang Valley and Gaumukh Track have also turned into ice.
Mercury dropped below zero in Gangotri Dham
Meteorologists say that at present the weather is dry in the plain districts of Uttarakhand and the temperature remains normal during the day. Due to the falling temperature in Gangotri Dham, the rivers, streams and waterfalls have completely frozen. These days the temperature in Dham is continuously going below zero degree Celsius, due to which the water sources in Nelang Valley and Gaumukh Track have also turned into ice.
Dehradun’s minimum temperature is 8.2°C.
According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Dehradun yesterday was 27.2°C and the minimum temperature was 8.2°C. The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was recorded at 28.4°C and the minimum at 5.1°C. Mukteshwar’s maximum temperature was 17.6°C and minimum 4.7°C, while New Tehri recorded a maximum of 17.4°C and minimum 4.2°C.
