Delhi : The famous Triveni Kala Sangam of the capital Delhi is smelling of Irish flavor these days. The Irish Food Festival going on here is giving people a unique experience of the traditional recipes of Ireland. This festival, which started from November 17, will continue till November 30, in which the aroma and taste of different Irish dishes is attracting people every day.
Unique confluence of tradition and taste
The specialty of the food festival is that hundreds of years old recipes of Ireland are being served here in their original flavour. Freshly baked bread, stew made of rich vegetables, soft sweet dishes and chicken cooked with its unique spices, all this together is giving a different taste to the people of Delhi.
Know the special menu of the festival
There are some special Irish dishes presented in the food festival. Traditional Irish brown loaf, made with yeast and barley. It is served with butter. This Irish bread made with baking soda is light and very different in taste. Irish Salad Made with fresh leafy vegetables, boiled eggs, tomatoes and pickled beetroot, this salad is both healthy and colourful.
Whereas, Beetroot Soup is a creamy velvety soup, which includes beetroot along with cream and a slight taste of ghee. Also, Irish Stew, a traditional Irish stew stewed with potatoes, carrots, green vegetables and spices, is the star dish of the festival. Chicken Casserole: This baked dish made of chicken and vegetables is famous for its mild taste and creamy texture. Apart from this, Apple & Fruit Crumble Tart is special for sweet lovers, crumb tart made of apples and dry fruits which is served hot.

Irish dishes are available at affordable rates at the festival. Bread variety ₹50–₹60, salads and soups ₹180–₹240. While main dishes like stews and chicken casseroles are priced at ₹460–₹480. For dessert, Apple Crumble Tart costs around ₹180.
