The conflict between the two big leaders of Congress, CM Siddaramaiah and his deputy DK Shivakumar, who came to power with great success in 2023, has now become public. On the other hand, the relatively weak party high command does not seem to be taking any decision on this conflict. It cannot be denied that this will create an opportunity for the BJP. BJP is keeping a close eye on this entire situation. Now the questions are floating whether DK Shivkumar will rebel if he does not get the CM’s chair and if he rebels then what option does he have. The ongoing conflict between the two top leaders of the party, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy DK Shivakumar, over the post of CM has now become national level news. At present Congress Party is in power in Himachal Pradesh and Telangana. In such a situation, its biggest fort is Karnataka itself. But, this conflict that has been going on for some time has badly affected the image of the party. Both the leaders are making statements in public. This is also affecting the governance in the state. Work is being affected.
Meanwhile, BJP is following a wait and watch strategy on this issue. She doesn’t seem to be taking any initiative from her side. Right now she is calling it a fight within the Congress house. But, it is not that she will refrain from going with a faction of Congress if given the opportunity. Meanwhile, V Somanna, a Union Minister from Karnataka has said that BJP does not need DK Shivakumar. According to the report of Deccan Herald, if Congress has the courage then it should dissolve the assembly and conduct elections in the state. He further said that BJP is very strong under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. He doesn’t need DK. He further said that the condition of Karnataka is bad. The condition of the roads is very bad. But, the Congress party is embroiled in the drama of power sharing. He said that the people of Karnataka have never seen a government more corrupt than this.
Kiss and conflict between Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah is increasing
Meanwhile, the ongoing conflict between DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah has progressed considerably. While talking about the secret deal related to power sharing, Shivkumar had said on Thursday that the word has the greatest value. Everyone should stick to their tongue. He said these things directly targeting Siddaramaiah. After this, Siddaramaiah also retaliated and said that the mandate given in 2023 was for five years.
Meanwhile, the Congress high command is going to consider this issue soon. There is going to be a meeting of both CM and Deputy CM with Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge. In this meeting itself, efforts will be made to resolve the political crisis brewing within the party, but in the meantime the party is suffering huge losses due to the ongoing rhetoric between the CM and the Deputy CM.
